Maximum Funding Amount: HKD$100,000
Matching Fund^: Matching Fund is NOT required
^Matching Fund excludes SIE Fund and all other Government funding. It includes in-cash or in-kind sponsorship from local and overseas private donors, foundation and private investors. In-kind refers to sponsorship of rental and equipment, thus the applicant should submit supporting documents for the valuation assessment. The matching fund amount will be subject to relevant terms and conditions and be confirmed after approval.
Start-up
An innovative project that has been tested, will be or has been launched to market, with
business model to support the project
Project Duration: 12-18 months
Maximum Funding Amount: HKD$100,000
Matching Fund^: Not less than 1:1

Project staffs will contact online applicant for identity verification and confirmation of application.

Make appointment through social media, email or mobile phone number with the project staffs for assistant to fill the application form in person.

Vetting Procedure
BEHub staffs will collect proposals, and seeks clarification or supplementary information
from the applicant. Afterwards, the applicant may be required to attend the Vetting to present
the proposals and answer judges’ questions.
Funding Amount
BEHub will notify the applicant of the result in written form (email and mail) within 90 days
after the pre-screening/ vetting. Successful applicant may be required to revise the proposal and/or business budget; revised document will be further examined by the endorsement party. Funding approval will be granted to the applicant upon the signing of the agreement with BEHub.
*Joint Vetting Committee (JVC) comprising members from various disciplines and sectors
and representative(s) of the SIE Fund Task Force will assess applications; formulate funding
decisions for each application. Where necessary, comments and advice will be sought from
other experts.
